A Bear Behind (series 1 & 2)

1988 BBC Children's series,"A Bear Behind", produced by Margie Barber and directed by Nell Romano, was a lovely series starring Lindsey Coulson travelling around with her knapsack 'Bear' - Boz, that became animated as a puppet whenever she put it down.(Puppeteer: Paul Badger, voice: Bill Wallis)

Lindsey's character lived on a barge and apart from constructing small puppeteer hides this hired original Iceboat required some additional decoration in the form of painted decorative transfers applied with vaseline to the side of the boat.

We all had great fun at various locations along the canals around Oxfordshire!
