Short Biography...

Hello,

I am a television scenery designer of over 40 years experience in a variety of projects.

I trained as a theatre designer at Croydon Art College, Surrey but started my work experience at BBC Television in 1983.

After a period of short contracts I became a staff 'assistant designer' and worked on a variety of television genres until I made the decision to leave and set up my own design company, Red Rhino Ltd., with two other colleagues in 1991.(www.davidbevin.com)

With the increased tendency for designers to work in a freelance world, in 2016, we took the decision to disband the company structure and go solo!

In addition to 'Production Design' I have also undertaken the role of 'Art Director' to other Production designers and this website shows a mixture of that work and my own designs.

Where indicated I show the relevant role undertaken (AD) for Art Director and (Designer) were appropriate.

Although I have now retired......
